Hello!

About Jeya Daï

Jeya Daï is a luxury slow-fashion label born from a lifelong passion for crafting and design. Every piece is entirely designed and created by me — hand-knitted, sewn, and shaped with care. From selecting the finest yarns to guiding fabric through the sewing machine, I bring each garment to life myself, ensuring a level of artistry and attention to detail that only comes from working intimately with every stitch.

My journey in craft began at a young age. I have been practicing making, stitching, and creating since I was eight years old, a hobby that grew into a deep, natural skill over the years. I formalized this passion by studying Upholstery and Interior Design in Amsterdam, learning to shape fabrics and materials not just for clothing but for furniture and objects — training that honed my understanding of form, texture, and structure.

Over the years, my creative path has been global and expansive. I lived in India and Bali as a yoga teacher, immersing myself in holistic practices and mindful living. Today, I am based in the Algarve with my family, where I continue to design and create Jeya Daï garments while also organizing yoga retreats and sacred pilgrimages to India through my other brand, OHMat.

During the COVID years, my craft transformed from a personal practice into a steady artistic expression that I now share with the world. Every hand-knitted mohair sweater, hand-sewn linen dress, or custom piece reflects this journey: a blend of personal history, global inspiration, and slow-fashion ethos.

At Jeya Daï, sustainability, craftsmanship, and collaboration are at the heart of every design. I work closely with each client to bring their vision to life, creating bespoke garments that are timeless, luxurious, and unique. The combination of traditional skills, self-taught techniques, and formal training allows me to design pieces that are both artisanal and wearable, made to last and loved for years to come.

Jeya Daï is not just a brand; it is a reflection of my life — the places I’ve lived, the crafts I’ve learned, and the communities I’ve connected with. Every garment carries the story of its making, the intention behind its design, and the care poured into its creation.
